Which computer are you using?

  1. Get ready

Download MuminTV for iOS.ipa to your computer using the button above. Have your iPhone or iPad, a data-capable USB cable, an internet connection and your Apple Account ready.

  2. Install iLoader — recommended

First download iTunes for Windows (64-bit) directly from Apple, run the installer and restart if requested. Then download and run the Windows iLoader installer from iloader.app. iCloud is not required for iLoader. See the official setup instructions if your Windows version or device connection needs additional setup.

  3. Connect and trust your device

Connect your iPhone or iPad by USB, unlock it, and accept Trust This Computer when prompted. Open iLoader and select your device. On Windows, check that iTunes detects it if it does not appear.

  4. Sign in to your Apple Account

Sign in inside iLoader and complete Apple’s verification prompts. This signs the app for your device; your Apple Account is separate from your MuminTV account.

  5. Import and install MuminTV

Choose iLoader’s option to import an IPA and select MuminTV for iOS.ipa. Follow its prompts to sign and install the app on the selected device. Keep the device connected until installation finishes. You do not need to install SideStore just to use this direct IPA route.

  6. Enable Developer Mode on your iPhone or iPad

On your iPhone or iPad · iOS/iPadOS 16 or later

Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode

Turn Developer Mode on, then tap Restart. After the device restarts, unlock it, tap Enable / Turn On and enter its passcode. Complete this confirmation before opening the app.

iLoader can install the IPA before Developer Mode is enabled, but the app cannot run until you complete this step. Installing the signed IPA first can help reveal the missing switch. Versions before iOS/iPadOS 16 do not have this setting.

    Developer Mode option missing?

This is an iPhone/iPad setting, not Windows Developer Mode or a Mac setting. Developer Mode applies to iOS/iPadOS 16 or later; older versions do not have this switch.

First finish installing the signed IPA with iLoader, unlock the device and try opening the installed app once. If it says Developer Mode Required, close Settings completely, reopen it and check Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode near the bottom.

On Windows: connect by a data-capable USB cable, unlock the iPhone/iPad and tap Trust This Computer, entering its passcode. Check that iTunes and iLoader both detect it. If the switch is still missing after installation, use the reveal command below.

Windows: reveal the missing switch with a command

Install Python 3 from python.org if needed, keep the phone connected and unlocked, then open PowerShell in a writable folder. Run these commands one at a time. They install the pymobiledevice3 project in its own folder, then ask the connected device to show the switch. They do not require your Apple Account password.

    py -3 -m venv ios-devmode
    .\ios-devmode\Scripts\python.exe -m pip install --upgrade pymobiledevice3
    .\ios-devmode\Scripts\python.exe -m pymobiledevice3 amfi reveal-developer-mode

After it succeeds, follow the phone steps below. See the project documentation if pairing or the command fails.

Finish on the phone: reopen Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode, turn it on and tap Restart. After restarting, unlock the phone, confirm Enable / Turn On and enter its passcode. The reveal command only exposes the option; it does not skip this confirmation.

Then open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management, select your Apple Account’s developer profile and tap Trust (or Allow & Restart if shown). Follow the confirmation prompts, then open the app.

If the computer cannot find the device, reconnect, unlock and accept Trust again. If the setting is disabled or the device is managed by a school/workplace, ask its administrator. If a command reports that it is unsupported, consult the project’s troubleshooting guidance instead of removing the phone’s passcode.

  7. Trust the developer profile on your iPhone or iPad

On the device, open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management, select your Apple Account’s developer profile and tap Trust (or Allow & Restart if shown). Complete the confirmation prompts. This is separate from trusting the computer over USB.

  8. Open MuminTV

Open MuminTV on your iPhone or iPad.

  9. Refresh before signing expires

Free Apple Account signing normally expires after seven days. Use the same signing account to refresh or reinstall the app over the existing copy before it expires. Avoid deleting the app to preserve its local data. For on-device refreshes, you can optionally set up SideStore using its official guide.

Alternative: Sideloadly
  1. Get ready

Use a Windows PC or Mac, your iPhone or iPad, a data-capable USB cable, an internet connection and your Apple ID. Download the MuminTV IPA to the computer. This is a signed-by-you installation, not an App Store download.

  2. Windows: check for Microsoft Store versions

Sideloadly requires Apple's desktop / web installers for iTunes and iCloud. If you installed either through Microsoft Store, open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps and uninstall those Store versions first, as directed by Sideloadly. The next two steps provide the compatible Apple installers. On a Mac, skip these Windows-only steps and use Finder to pair your device.

  3. Windows: install iTunes

Download iTunes for Windows (64-bit). Most PCs use this version; 32-bit iTunes is available for older 32-bit Windows systems. Open the downloaded installer, follow its setup prompts, and restart if requested. Open iTunes once installation finishes.

  4. Windows: install iCloud

Download iCloud for Windows — desktop installer. Open iCloudSetup.exe, finish installation, and restart Windows if requested. These Apple components must be installed before using Sideloadly. If a download link changes, get the prerequisite links from Sideloadly’s official setup page.

  5. Windows: sign in to Apple apps if prompted

In iTunes, choose Account → Sign In to enter your Apple Account email address or phone number and password. Open iCloud from Start and use its Sign In screen if setup requests it. Complete Apple’s verification code / trusted-device approval when requested. You can leave photo and file syncing off if you do not want it. These sign-ins are for your Apple Account.

  6. Install Sideloadly

Visit sideloadly.io, choose Windows or macOS, then run its installer or open its disk image and copy the app into Applications. Follow the current setup prompts. See the official FAQ if setup fails.

  7. Connect and trust your device

Connect by USB, unlock the iPhone or iPad and respond to its Trust This Computer prompt. Check that iTunes on Windows, or Finder on Mac, can see the device. Open Sideloadly and select that device.

  8. Load the IPA and enter your Apple ID

In Sideloadly, select your connected iPhone or iPad and drag in MuminTV for iOS.ipa. In the Apple ID field, enter the email address or phone number for your own Apple Account. A free Apple Account works; use the same signing account for future refreshes and updates.

  9. Press Start and complete Apple sign-in

Click Start. When Sideloadly asks, enter your Apple Account password into its authentication prompt. Approve the sign-in on your trusted Apple device and enter the verification code if requested. Wait for Sideloadly to finish installing. Do not enter your MuminTV password here, and never enter Apple credentials on this website. For sign-in errors, consult the official Sideloadly FAQ.

Use the Windows troubleshooting section in the main steps above.

  11. Trust the developer profile on your iPhone or iPad

On the device, open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management, select your Apple Account’s developer profile and tap Trust (or Allow & Restart if shown). Complete the confirmation prompts. This is separate from trusting the computer over USB.

  12. Open MuminTV

Open MuminTV on your iPhone or iPad.

  13. Refresh before seven days

With a free Apple account, the signature normally lasts seven days. Re-sign about once a week using the same Apple ID and bundle identifier. Install over the existing app instead of deleting it to retain local data. Paid developer-account signing can last up to a year.

  14. Optional automatic refresh

Enable Sideloadly’s automatic-refresh option and keep its daemon available on your computer. The device must be reachable by USB or configured Wi-Fi pairing. On Windows, enable device Wi-Fi sync in iTunes; on Mac, use Finder’s “Show this device when on Wi-Fi” option. Both devices must be on the same network for Wi-Fi refresh.

  15. If the app expires

Connect the device and sideload the IPA again using the same Apple ID and bundle identifier. Do not uninstall first. For pairing or authentication errors, use the official FAQ linked above.
